Marc Jacobs once had this free e-book available at is.gd (where you can go now to see when it becomes available again)—an e-book that listed a lot of the myths that sprouted-up around Internet Marketing (memetic combinations borne of government-bailouts and the kind of robbery featured in “Hackers” with Angelina Jolie & Jonny Lee Miller). But I think it’s important to only use myths to explain ‘things that CANNOT be understood’ (God’s grace, resurrection etc.), and that we explain the mini-universe of money-from-Internet-Marketing TRUTHFULLY (rather than claiming that ‘marketing’ has ANYTHING TO DO WITH anything valuable but by secondary reference) I had rehd the whole book and had finished recording a few chapters when my ‘ancient’ machine (2005 or so) decided to erase the rest of the partially prepared stuff I had; so I’m posting what I managed to finish.
